Any more updates on the Viewbar?

I was reading the company blog this morning, and here is the latest update on the AGLOCO toolbar:

...as soon as we are able to finish integrating the ad servers (which has unfortunately taken much longer than expected), we will begin our full-scale release. The current integration issues are coming from the ad server side, but we are having to adjust the Viewbar to compensate for this. We are working with our partners to correct this last remaining issue so the Viewbar can be released. Every day I keep my fingers crossed that it will be the day the ad server integration is completed so that AGLOCO can finally move into the next phase of business.

What is the status of the Viewbar?

This morning I read this on the AGLOCO site:

Viewbar quality tests are still going on. As I mentioned in the comment area of my previous post, all tests of the Viewbar have passed except for the ad servers. We had expected our testing to be finished by now, but this advertising integration is not proving easy to solve. All of us on the development team are anxious to see the Viewbar distributed to our Members, as we are now two months behind our initially planned launch date. Still, with only one technical hurdle between us and the release, I’m really getting excited for the upcoming launch (and I can see other Members are getting excited too!).

It sounds like it is getting close. I am glad they are working out the bugs now so it will be a good product once it is available.

Will the Viewbar work with a MAC?

AGLOCO is getting close to releasing their Viewbar...

In a note I received from them, they discussed the above question. Here is what they said:

Initial Release for Windows: The initial Viewbar release will be for Windows Vista, XP, 2000 Pro and 2000 Server. Later, we will release Mac and Linux versions of the Viewbar. Until that occurs, Mac/Linux users can still log onto any supported Windows computer and accumulate their five hours. The Viewbar works with browsers IE 5.5 or higher and Firefox 1.5 or higher.
